Marianne Botros' creative journey started in Cairo, Egypt, the city of art, culture and ancient history. She grew up in Sydney before moving to Saudi Arabia where her style was born.  Returning to her Egypt, she studied art & design in 2008 before she moved permanently to Toronto in 2016 to begin her new line of bags.

 

Marianne’s fascination with art began at an early age.  Graduating from the faculty of applied arts, decoration department, she entered the fabric world and released her new textile collection then traveled to Europe to explore new trends. She worked as a graphic instructor at the German University in Cairo, where her passion for luxury handbags grew, knowing that her hard work would lead her to a unique future.

 

As a brand, Marianne Botros is unique due to the story behind her brand which expresses new sculpted forms of strength and elegance.  Without forgetting her Egyptian roots, Marianne presents a modern classicism based on superior sartorial content and creativity which emphasis the carved silhouettes of the bag. The strong identity of Marianne Botros' brand possesses a contrasting feminine and masculine structure.  To manufacture her product Marianne Botros chose both Egyptian and Italian artisans to incorporate her designs.
